A tutorial on the “10 Hidden Amazon Fire Stick Features & Settings”

Here at “Tech News For You” I have been experimenting with various online TV streaming options. So far, I am stuck on the Amazon Fire Stick. I was going to write an article about some of the hidden features and settings that I have come across, but found this great video that covers all the bases. If you are interested in giving an Amazon Fire Stick a try, they are available at Amazon (click here), are reasonable in cost, and provide a great way to cut the cord from cable. What I have found is that the Fire Stick is basically Android on a stick which means you can install many Android apps.

An Article by “Help Desk Geek” to Teach You “How To Chromecast to Cast Your Entire Desktop To Your TV”

If you have a “Google Chromecast Device“, did you know you can wirelessly project your computer screen to your TV? Follow the source link below to learn how easy this is to do…

Casting is a method of projecting or sending content wirelessly to a different screen such as your television or second monitor. Once you set up your Google Chromecast device, you can play any content from your mobile device or desktop on your TV or remote monitor, with the device becoming a remote control.

It saves you the painful hassles of hooking up your PC to your TV using an HDMI cable, which largely depends on the length of the cable. Plus, it allows you to mirror your entire screen or any browser tab on Google Chrome wirelessly with a few clicks so you can view static files like photos, display a presentation or view a website on a larger scale.
