Today at “What’s On My PC” – A Day To Put Down The Electronics And Give Thanks

Today’s Thoughts From Rick – “A Day To Put Down The Electronics And Give Thanks”:

text thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was intermittently celebrated on and off since 1789, with a proclamation by George Washington after a request by Congress; AND, did not become a federal holiday until Lincoln’s Presidency in 1863 (during the Civil War). Of all the Holiday’s of the year, this is one celebration that we can gather together and give thanks for God’s blessings. For awhile today, try to put down the electronics if you can; and, give thanks for whatever it is that comes to your mind and heart.

Be mindful of others and be safe… Happy Thanksgiving to ALL…
