Highly Recommended Start Page (or Home Page) for Your Web Browser

A forte of mine is customizing menu’s and start pages to make myself more productive. One of my favorite start pages (or homepage applications) is Symbaloo. Below you will see a sample of my personal start page using Symbaloo.

What I like is that you can customize this application by using your own icons, can group items together and create tabbed groups. It does take a little bit of learning curve, but once you are set up you will not regret it. I have been using Symbaloo for years and my wife loves it. The only negative is the advertisement to the side, but you will get used to it and is only a minor annoyance. Symbaloo also works great on a smartphone, tablet, and chromebook; AND, you can get a browser extension that will assist with collecting your favorite sites.

What is start.me? – start.me

Want to customize, and I mean really “customize”, your very own browser start page (also called your “home page”). If so, take a look at Start.me… I have been using this service for quite some time and it continues to improve. I currently have my Start.me (home page) setup as a dashboard where I can, at a glance, see my emails, task, calendar, weather, calculator, news, etc… Big, big timesaver! This is all done via widgets that you can install and move around. Highly recommended…

We spend a lot of time on the Internet. We browse the web to discover. Or we search for something specific, like a delicious recipe or a motivational article. start.me’s bookmark manager lets you easily save and organize all of your favorite webpages on a customizable dashboard. Using start.me, you’ll spend less time digging for links and more time browsing them.
