Visually Organize Anything

If you are like me, you save a lot of internet based information. The problem is that you can get “discombobulated” and forget where you saved this information that results in that feeling of being disorganized. Recently, I came across a web based app called “Bublup” that works across multiple platforms (web, android, ios) that gives you the ability to keep links in the same folders as PDFs, photos, videos, GIFs, notes, and other files. In other words, you can visually organize anything with one application. Add the browser extension and you can rocket anything you save to Bublup. Here at “Tech News for You” I have been testing this application and have come to the conclusion that “Bublup” may just end up being the app of the year.

Bublup – Visually Organize, Collect and Share Anything

I recently posted on Bublup and thought I would do a shout out again. This app on the web and your phone is probably one of the best I have come across when it comes to saving (and sharing) your stuff. What I mean by “stuff” is that you can keep links in the same folders as PDFs, photos, videos, GIFs, notes, and other files. It all visually looks good together, whether you’re collecting recipes or funny memes, planning a trip with friends, or doing a work project.

You can get Bublup for FREE (with 3 GB of storage) or you can buy into their other storage options that are reasonably priced. You can get additional storage, up to 12GB, by referring others.

Bublup – A visually appealing bookmarking app where you can save, collect, and share just about anything…

Bublup is the new modern visually appealing way to collect and save, not only links, but PDF’s, photos, videos, GIF’s, notes, emails and other types of files. These items can be saved in the same folders together, making it ideal for research and for establishing collections. A cool component of Bublup is when you save something, other relevant information relating to the topic you saved, will bubble up. There is also a method to import your bookmarks into Bublup from Chrome, Safari and Firefox. With a FREE account you get 3 GB of storage and if that is not enough, go for one of the paid options. So far, here at Tech News for You, we are liking what we see with Bublup… Almost forgot, you can create Roll web pages instantly from Bublup folders. Customize them easily into beautiful stories and collections of your content including links, photos, videos, GIFs, notes, PDFs, and other files. Bookmark Sidebar – My favorite browser extension…

“Bookmark Sidebar” gives you the ability to add a toggle-able sidebar with all your bookmarks at the edge of your browser window. This extension is customizable (i.e. theme/color change, font size, etc…) and is one of the best browser extensions you will come across that syncs with your built-in extension bookmarks. It is totally FREE; however, there is an option to buy the premium version that will open the door to more options; plus, it helps out the developer.

Raindrop.io – All In One Bookmarks and Collections Manager

There are many options to store your bookmarks; but, Raindrop.io has to be best. Here at “What’s On My PC” I have been focused on finding something to store collections of things I am specifically focused on. For example, I may be looking at a collection of Android apps to post about on the blog. Typically, I could create a folder in my bookmark manager, label it Android apps, and just bookmark it; BUT, I wanted something that had a more modern visual appeal to it that would allow me to customize it to my liking.

I think I found what I have been looking for with Raindrop.io… It allows me to store my regular bookmarks; has the option to create collections; has modern visual features; has mobile platform options; has browser extensions; and, it allows me to customize the appearance. What more could I want?

Check out “Cling” – Your Notes, Links, To Dos and Files in one App…

This is something you may really like that I happened across while browsing the web for new blog content. What I came across is a web based app called ‘Cling‘ that allows you to add and collect “to dos”, “notes”, bookmark files” and “photos”…. Appears that ‘Cling’ is not available on any of the mobile platforms yet, but the site indicated it is coming soon. The first thing I did was import my browser bookmarks to ‘Cling’ to give me an opportunity to play around with it. On my phone, using my web browser, ‘Cling’ worked flawlessly and appeared quite nice; however, I will be looking forward to the Android app of ‘Cling’ when it comes out. Currently there is a Google Chrome extension that you can use to collect what you find to ‘Cling’ on your desktop computer or Chromebook.

Cling is the best bookmarking tool. Manage your links online along with your notes, to-dos, photos and files.

In brief, you start with a board where you can add content such as  “to dos”, “notes”, bookmark files” and “photos”. In the FREE version of ‘Cling’ you are entitled to 10 boards, 1 GB of storage, 1000 notes, links, files and to-dos… in addition to the search, bookmark-import & sharing features… The FREE version is ad-free…
