Many of you may not know what the “Great Suspender” is; but, I find it important to post this information for those who use this browser extension. Here at “Tech News for You”, this was one of the first Chrome browser extensions I would install. This extension would put a browser tab to sleep after a period of time and as a result you would conserve memory. Today, I found out through an article at “Windows Central” that Google has detected the “Great Suspender” as a product that contains malware. In my case, when I launched Google Chrome, the browser automatically disabled the extension. I subsequently uninstalled this extension and recommend you do, as well, until we here more.
