One of my favorite board games growing up was Scrabble; and, to this day it still is. It is the only game out there that will hold my attention. I have tried many of the Scrabble type games on the Google Play Store (including Hasbro’s version) and today I came across one called “CrossCraze“, that not only is visually appealing; BUT, it is not constantly blinking ads while you are playing; and, is just plain fantastic. With CrossCraze you play against your device (at different difficulty levels) OR if you go with the PRO version you can play with another person by taking turns. My wife and I enjoy (together) trying to beat the device (such as the Tablet, Smartphone or Chromebook). I have installed and run the game on all three (Tablet, Smartphone and Tablet). Also, while checking out the developer’s website, I noticed there is a Windows version as well; however, you are limited to a trial run of 10 games. If you like playing Scrabble and want to sharpen up your skills, you may want to give this one a try!
Word Game is a fun vocabulary game developed by the BetaFactory to test and improve your English language vocabulary. Word game enthusiasts love playing different kinds of word games. This game is another addition to that list. The game interface is quite easy. The website does ask you to create an account and login so the progress you make can be saved.
Windows 7 had a set of nice, beautiful games including the classic card games with new shiny graphics and some great new games from Vista like Chess Titans, Mahjong Titans and Purble Place. For some reason, Microsoft decided to discontinue these games and offers bloated Modern games from the Store instead. For fans of the original Windows 7 games, here is a simple tutorial to revive them on Windows 10.
