Protect Your Online Privacy with Surfshark VPN

If you truly want a method to browse the internet privately; to keep yourself from being tracked; and to hide your location (even from your ISP); then, you should be using a VPN (Virtual Private Network). Please do not let the big words scare you away, because installing and using a VPN is quite simple (and is actually a no-brainer at a time where anything and everything you do on the internet is a deep intrusion of your privacy).

A Virtual Private Network is a service that allows you to connect to the Internet via an encrypted tunnel to ensure your online privacy and protect your sensitive data. A VPN is commonly used to secure connection to public Wi-FI hotspot, hide IP address and make your browsing private.

Recently, here at “Tech News for You”, I decided it was time to explore the various VPN services and buy into one. I highly suggest that you avoid any VPN services that are free due to the likelihood those services will be harvesting your data and selling it. A commercial (and reputable) VPN is the way to go and there are some really good one’s out there. The cost is minimal considering the protection you are buying into.

The VPN service I ended up subscribing to is Surfshark. If you are interested in Surfshark, you can get a FREE month (30 days); register & get the USD 2.49/mo deal; get 30-day bonus on top; and use Surfshark on unlimited devices…

I explored many of the VPN services out there and the reason I ended up with Surfshark is due to its’ ease of use and cost-saving features. I ended up going with their 2 year plan (at $2.49 per month). How I use Surfshark is like this… I installed the Surfshark browser extension for Google Chrome. When I surf the internet, I have Surfshark turned “on” using the extension. Surfshark will automatically look for the closest server to connect to that will give me the best speed and service. If not satisfied, I can always select and connect to another server that will make it appear I am connecting from another city or even country. My ISP loses the ability to see where I am actually connecting to; thus, protecting my privacy. How powerful are VPN’s? In countries where the internet is regulated and controlled, many users will use VPN’s to allow them to surf the internet without being seen. I also installed the Surfshark app on my smartphone where I can toggle the VPN on and off; especially, when I am using a wi-fi hotspot.

Again, if you are interested in Surfshark, you can get a FREE month (30 days); register & get the USD 2.49/mo deal; get 30-day bonus on top; and use Surfshark on unlimited devices…

    1. I checked out of bunch of these (VPN’s) and Surfshark was the best option in terms of cost and unlimited connections. So far, I have tested this from my location and appears to work quite well and the speed is very good (not uncommon to see a speed drop with VPN’s). Hope all is well with you and your family. — Rick
