How to add a shortcut to a website as a web app in Google Chrome

For Windows, Linux, and Chromebook users, you can add a shortcut to a website on the internet as an app in Chrome. When completed you the app will open as a resizable window where there is no toolbar; thus, giving the appearance of a normal Windows application (see screenshot below). If you are using a Chromebook, the app that you created will show up on the app launcher and in Windows, the newly created app will show up on your desktop. To remove an app, simply uninstall it on the Chromebook or delete it on the Windows desktop.
