A Good Guide on “How to get the newest version of LibreOffice on Chrome OS”

If you have been following along here at “What’s On My PC“, you probably noticed that the Linux install option on the Google Chromebook has piqued my interest. So far, I have learned some Linux terminal commands, have installed the Linux version of the Vivaldi web browser (now my default browser) on my Chromebook; AND, now I want to pass onto you on “How to get the newest version of Libre Office on Chrome OS” (instruction provided by Chrome Unboxed). If you want to install the Linux version of LibreOffice on your Chromebook I strongly suggest you follow the instructions as provided by the web site “Chrome Unboxed”. I initially installed LibreOffice from the Linux terminal window. Well, it will install; BUT, do not do that in this case. The version that is pulled down and installed through the terminal is not stable and when I was finished, it was in black and white (icons and everything). I had to uninstall that version and that is when I found (through further research) the instructions at Chrome Unboxed (that was posted on March 1, 2020). After following those instructions, I now have a fully functional office suite on my Chromebook that runs like a charm and is very stable. Thank you Chrome Unboxed for these instructions…
