Here’s A Source Link To Get Microsoft’s Newly Released “News Bar (Beta)” At The Microsoft Store

I am a news junkie and when I find a software application that will feed my habit, I have to check it out. Microsoft has been doing some pretty neat stuff here of late and they just posted in the Microsoft Store a newly developed “News Bar“.

The “News Bar”, after you install it, will initially show a vertical line of current news images on the right side of the screen that will auto scroll about every 5 – 10 secs. If you hover the mouse over an image,  news information will popup in a small window. You can go to the actual news story by clicking on the image. If you do not like the location of the news bar, you can click on the setting icon (a cogged wheel) and configure the bar to appear on the top, bottom, left or right side of the screen.  If you don’t like the image scroll, you can change it to a text scroll. There is an option to monitor specific stocks, change the appearance, and an option to restore the bar in the event you minimize it.

In my case, I have the news bar at the bottom of the screen (on my second monitor) to scroll the news stories in the text format.  Very nice job Microsoft… I love it!

Download this app from Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and see more screenshots, read the latest customer reviews, and compare ratings for News Bar (Beta).
