Macrium Reflect 7 has available a FREE version that you can download and use to “protect your data, upgrade your hard disk or try new operating systems in the safe knowledge that everything is securely saved in an easily recovered backup file. Macrium Reflect supports backup to local, network and USB drives”… When you visit the site, via the source links provided, scroll down the page (on the left side) and you will see the button link to get the FREE version.
I have used Macrium in the past here at “What’s On My PC” to image my computer drives. I typically use software such as this to image the drive after a fresh install of Windows 10. It just makes it easier to restore the computer to the same condition it was at the time the image was created… Many network admin’s will use imaging software to quickly get their machines back online… In that scenario, go with the commercial version to get the added (and needed) features.
